In a bizarre partnership that breaks conventional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Uncovered

According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual confrontation pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of forbidden practices and monstrous metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The plot features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a clandestine sect.

The adventure concentrates on "bizarre experiments and a fearsome adversary" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Changes

The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a dramatic scene showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Additional Content

Players who successfully complete the mission will receive an special katana in addition to several artifacts hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
